Ginger is rich in essential oils, vitamins and minerals, antioxidants and amino acids, and in addition, it is an ideal remedy to take care of the skin and the hair, mainly to stimulate its growth.

Ginger Treatment for Skin Care

Ginger contains about 40 antioxidant compounds, which help protect the skin against ageing. In addition, it helps improve the appearance of the skin by removing toxins and stimulating blood circulation. It also improves the elasticity of the skin, making it firmer and younger.

Clay Mask with Ginger

This mask helps detoxify the skin, improve the excessive oiliness and leaves the skin more luscious and renewed.

1 tablespoon of clay (white, red, pink or green)

1 tablespoon ginger tea

Make a very strong ginger tea (very little amount, about 20 ml). Add the tea to the clay powder and mix well. Spend on clean skin with a brush let it act for 15 minutes. Rinse well.

Rejuvenating Scrub (Face & Body)

1 tablespoon oat bran

1 teaspoon vegetable oil (almonds, avocado, coconut, olive)

3 teaspoons ginger

2 drops of lemon essential oil

Mix all the ingredients in a bowl. Put the mixture on the face and make circular and smooth movements. Rinse well. The exfoliant helps to eliminate dead cells and leaves the skin clean and soft.

Skin Moisturizing Mask

1 tablespoon honey

2 teaspoons rosehip oil

4 drops of ginger essential oil

Mix all ingredients and, with clean skin, run across the face with a brush. Leave on for 10 minutes and rinse thoroughly. The honey must be in a liquid state.
