Exfoliation is an important step in skin care. It removes dead cells and impurities and makes way for new healthy cells to grow. It make the skin soft and fresh. Home remedies play a useful role here. You cannot go to a parlor daily. I found this very effective home made recipe for exfoliating the skin of your face and neck.

A spoonful of sugar

A few drops of almond oil

Mix sugar with almond oil until a smooth paste is formed that is not too wet.

Apply the paste on clean face With gently circulating massage and avoiding the area of the eyes and lips, because the skin in these areas is very thin and sensitive.

After a few minutes, rinse with warm water, gently dry your face and apply your normal moisturizer.

You can perform this facial once a week when you have combination skin and once every two weeks when the skin is dry or normal.

Sugar has a granular texture that will pull the dead skin cells, while almond oil is rich in fatty acids and vitamin E, a substance that will help moisturize the skin and keep it soft, young and free of blemishes long.

Benefits of Almond Oil & Sugar Scrub

  • Prevents premature aging thanks to vitamin E in the almond oil.
  • Leaves skin hydrated, smooth, soft and silky.
  • It removes dead skin cells and impurities.

Almond oil not only nourishes your skin but also protects it from harmful UV rays. It heals any damaged or harmed skin. It can also help cure acne because of the presence of vitamin A. Almond oil helps lighten your skin tone because of the dead skin removal action. It can clear clogged pores and purify skin from deep. Alternatively, you can also use avocado oil, olive oil or tea tree oil for making this exfoliating mixture.
