The active ingredients in this mask are as follows:

Pineapple has enzymes that exfoliate the skin gently. It cleans the pores and gives a smooth texture to the skin. It also has anti-inflammatory properties which can help reduce acne.

Rice flour
Rice flour acts as a scrub. Its fine granules help remove the stubborn impurities from the pores.

Aloe Vera
Aloe Vera is a natural soother for the skin. It has a cool and calming effect on the skin. Further, it helps bind the facemask into a paste that is easy to apply.
It also has antiseptic properties that prevent acne and pimples.

Yogurt is the ideal ingredient to moisturize the skin without making it too oily.


2 tablespoons of natural pineapple juice
1 teaspoon of rice flour
1 tablespoon of aloe vera gel
2 tablespoons of plain yogurt

Prepare the Mask

Prepare the mask by mixing all the ingredients together in the quantities mentioned above.


  1. Wash your face with cold or warm water. Pat your skin dry with a clean towel.
  2. Apply the mask on your face while avoiding the area around the eyes.
  3. Leave the mask on for 15 minutes.
  4. Finally use luke warm water and rub the mixture on your skin gently. This will help remove blackheads and impurities. You can rub for 2 – 3 minutes.
  5. Wash off the mask with plenty of luke warm water.
  6. To soothe any irritated skin, apply some aloe vera gel.
