Sun causes dark spots and blemishes on the skin. To retrieve the skin to its healthy glowing state, use the following vitamin rich skin-lightening face masks.
1. Mask of lemon juice, cucumber, and rose water
Lemon juice – 1 tablespoon of
cucumber juice – 1 tablespoon
rose water – 1 tablespoon
Undoubtedly, the most effective mask to get rid of tan is this one that contains the goodness of cucumber, lemon and rose water. Lemon and cucumber are both natural bleaching agents and help to lighten the skin tone. Lemon juice contains vitamin C, which works surprisingly to neutralize the damage caused due to sun exposure. Rose water also soothes and refreshes the skin and helps get rid of age spots and tan lines. To prepare, mix all three liquids together and apply on all tanned skin with a cotton ball. Leave on for 10 minutes and then rinse with cold water.
3. Mask of honey and papaya
Papaya pulp – ½ cup of
honey – 1 tablespoon
This mask not only helps to eliminate tanning, but it also lightens the skin and reduces the spots and scars due to the presence of the wonderful enzyme called papain. To prepare this delicious mask, mash a ½ cup of ripe papaya pulp and add the honey. Mix well and apply throughout the affected area and let dry for 30 minutes. Rinse and discover tan glowing skin free.
4. Mask of tomato, lemon juice and yogurt
Tomato pulp – 2 tablespoons
Yogurt – 1 tablespoon
Lemon juice – 1 tablespoon
This remedy eliminates skin tone in general and successfully eliminates tanning, pigmentation and dark spots. Tomato juice also helps reduce open pores and decreases excess fat. To prepare this mask, mix the tomato pulp with yogurt and lemon juice and mix well to prepare a soft paste. Apply to the face and let it rest for 30 minutes before washing with cold water.
